This isn't one of my better days.  I have arthritus, and while most days are good days, there are some bad ones and my joints just don't behave as they should.

This morning I got of the train and headed to work.  Stepped off the curb, and my ankle decided to twist sideways and I fell flat in the street.  A street vendor I sometimes buy from rushed over to help me.  My ankle is a bit bruised, but not swollen, and I have a skinned knee.

At lunch, I spilled a gob of mustard down the front of my cardigan.  I have only worn this sweater set three times, and I was determined to save it from a permanent yellow stain.  I rushed over to the nearest sink, soaped it up and ran water over it for fifteen minutes until the stain faded to where I could barely see it.  A coworker told me there was vinegar under the sink, I tried it and it got rid of the last bit of yellow.  I soaped and rinsed some more, but couldn't quite get rid of the vinegar smell.

I called Kevin and poured out my woes to him.  He hinted at taking me out to dinner--okay, but maybe somewhere that will give me a bib.  At least I don't have to cook, and the way my luck is running I should steer clear of anything that involves knives, electricty, gas, or intense heat.

So right now I am sitting here chilled in just my sleeveless shell, waiting for 4:30 so I can put on my wet, smelly sweater and limp home.

Sorry to hear that your day was lousy.  I hope that dinner was nice.  Very thoughtful of Kevin to take you out after such a trying day at work.  At least tomorrow is Friday!

You haven't had any more strange occurances in the middle of the night, have you?  I hope not.
