More info about Brunhilda / Hilde

We found out some more info about Hilde. (I called the original owners listed on the AKC registration)
First ... her family were all Vikings! ... like a brother named Thor .... so now our new sig shows a Vilking Queen.
Second ... they sold her to a family who promised that she would be an only dog .... in truth there were 2 pit bulls, 2 blue healers, and a couple of small dogs.
Third .... it really does appear that she had a litter since January ..... which is only as long as she was in her NEVER home. (I bet it wasn't a Dachshund Daddy either)
Fourth .....  Hilde had been the alpha in the original group.  When I described her as submissive, the ex mama said "No Way!" .  So we think the story of ill treatment is probably true.
When I called the original owner tonight, she was so concerned about Hilde ...the woman arrived at my house 15 minutes later with all the medical records for her.  Which  until January were very up to date.

eLlIe seems to be "ok".  I was very proud of her tonight when she stood on the footrest of the glider chair and told Hilde  "Get off that chair , it is MINE!" ...
granted Hilde did ignore her, but Mizz eLlIe really spoke up for herself.

All I can say is she is one very lucky girlie and what a name I just love it. And good on Ellie, soon they will be snoozning together.

Poor sweet little girl. I am soooooo glad that she has a wonderful new forever home with you and Ellie!  She certainly deserves it!
