My name is Kelly, and I live in the Washington, DC area with my brindle mini smooth female, Bailey, and Peanut, my dachsie/chihuahua mix. I stumbled across this board while looking for something else. Lucky me!

Glad you stumbled across us !!!! We have several regular posters that are in the DC area..... usually week ends are slow....but you should see responses from the locals to you after the week end !!! We love stories and pictures !

Hi Kelly. Nice to see another DC area person here. There is a pretty nice group of us from the area. I live in MD with my boy Conrad. His littermate Finnious also lives in the area with Conrad's Aunt Denise.

Hi Kelly,

We're in the DC area, too (up near Damascus, MD). We live with Max, a 16 1/2 year old red mini smooth. Max is the "Senior Weiner" around here. There are a bunch of us in the area and we periodically have "Bow Wows" where all of our dachsies can meet each other. We're planning on one this fall, hope to see you there!
