not good news...

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am having a miscarriage so Elf will be waiting a bit for a baby brother or sister.  David and I are OK with it although of course we are saddened.  I've got a few doctor's appointments this week to get checked out really well so maybe this summer we can try again.  Cajsa and Gretchen have been very snuggly today and that is reassuring.  Elf was at the hospital with us and David stayed with her since she couldn't come into where I was.  She would ask about me and gave me tons of hugs when she saw me again.  I really am lucky to have a good support here between husband, daughter and furkids.  So please don't feel bad or strange about it, I just wanted to let people know so maybe good thoughts could come our way this week.

Thank you all for your support and good wishes.  I saw the doctor this morning and had more lab work done to confirm things and I think Nature will take care of things without further interventions.  That makes it easier for me.  The slurpy kisses I've gotten and the rays/prayers being sent have been wonderful support as well. 
I went outside and planted some tomato plants and cleaned up the strawberry patch so I got to see something growing and that was also very life affirming for me.  Of course my shoulders and back are sore, but it's good.  I'll sleep tonight.
