Maybe I'm being dramatic, but I'm really scared for Dolly.  I write this with tears...

We have another vet appt tomorrow for a second opinion on our Dolly.  She is not getting better, but, I think, worse.

She seems to have developed a new pattern (so much for a full night's sleep) of crying at around 2:00 AM to be let out.  She doesn't bark or really cry.  It's more of a boof/whine.  It sure gets me up in a hurry.  She generally gets up, goes out, comes back in, pukes (just frothy yellow stuff), drinks a BIG bunch of water and then wants to go back to bed.  This sequence can be arranged in different order depending on if a puke is more important than going out.  Interesting that she doesn't barf with a full tummy.

She continues to have a spotty appetite and her poops are very soft and BIG.  I wonder how much nutrition she really is getting.  She just seems so weak, even though she can still get herself up on the couch.  It almost seems like a pride thing with her.  "No help mommy.  I can do it."  I have switched her to an all soft food (Candidae for now) so that it tempts her to eat.

Her coat is beautiful and soft but her skin tone is very loose.  We used to kid that she was part hound dog with her "extra" skin and that we could make 2 dogs out of her.  Now it could be 3 or 4.  All she wants to do is sleep, although she'll still give a kiss if you request one.

We are so worried about her.  I'll let y'all know what the new vet says tomorrow.  Please, if you can spare some comfort rays for our Dollers, we'd surely appreciate them.

OH NO! Poor Miss Dolly!  Do you think the nausea is caused by some sort of infection? It sounds like she's not throwing up anything w/ substance so it sounds like her body is trying to rid her of some sort of "sick".  Could she have allergy problems?  Gosh I would be in the same boat as you - worried sick!  The hardest thing about our furbabies is that when they don't feel good, they can't tell us what's wrong!

Lots and lots of rays coming Dolly's way - and hugs to you, mom!  Let us know what the new doctor says - hopefully it's nothing serious!
