Stormy coming home - sad news

We will be bringing Stormy home tonight. His tumor is inoperable. It has invaded his nose and they would have to take too much of his muzzle to get it all. We still don't know what kind of tumor it is. I guess there is one kind that can be treated by radiation, but for this we would have to go to the University of Missouri (4 hours away from us) and he would have to stay for 3 to 5 weeks. The way this has been going, it's pretty unlikely that we'll have that option even if we could afford it which is questionable. So we're at the end of the road here. Now all that remains is what time we may have before we have to make the final decision. My heart is broken.

Oh, Rich - I'm so sorry. Hearing about Stormy is all too real for me. I went through the same thing with Annie. She had her tumor removed but it just kept coming back. All you can do now is make sure he is comfortable and spoil the ever lovin' heck out of him. We all know you will do your very best to make sure Stormy is very loved and safe. My heart breaks for you.

Oh Rich - I can't believe it...... My heart hurts for you and my tears are falling. I know you and Deb and Sophie will make him as comfortable as possible until the time comes - and I am praying that it will be awhile. God Bless you - I just can't imagine. Praying that it is slow growing and you will have a long time with Stormy. Sending you all HHHHHHHHHH's. This is very hard to watch them but enjoy the time you have left. We know only too well how hard this is.

I feel your pain. Even the 2 short times I met Stormy I could see how special he is. I know you will do what is best for Stormy down the road. I pray these autumn days will be filled some joy at his presence in your lives even as time winds down.

Very sorry to hear of Stormy's Pilate know you will be able to be strong for him when the time comes just take it one day at a time and give him extra pats & hugs will be thinking of you.

We're so sorry to hear the news about Stormy. He sounds like he was a really special dog. Stormy will let you know when it's time. It's almost impossible to describe how, but you'll know it when you see it. Sending rays and prayers your way.

Just love him and let him know you do for as long as he wants to stay, as David said thye have a way to tell you when the time is theirs.
