We had the storms but fortunately the tornados missed us.  The wind and thunder and lightening were worse than I have seen it in a very long time.  Yikes! 
Thanks so much for asking!  It's going to take me all weekend to get the yard cleaned up!  I'm sure I'll have the help of the four furkids though....

Hi Emmy...dis is Beatrice.  I don't know bout Buelah an Oscy an Toby-Man but I do NOT LIKE DEM STORMS!  Not ONE BIT!  When da wind would blow WEALLY hard I would let out my BARK!  I had to do dat a lot in da night cuz da winds was blowing WEALLY badly!  AND der was dis vewy loud THUNDER!  I do not like dat THUNDER one bit either!  Finally mama got up and me an her went and layed down on da couch by ourselves.  She said dat I was disturbin da household and probley da neighbors wif my big BARK!  When we was on da couch I couldn't hear da wind so much cuz mama put on da pwetty music for her an me to cuddle up an listen to. 
So dis is what I think.  Wheneber we gets da storms and da thunder and da wind I am gonna BARK!  I am gonna bark and bark and bark until my mama takes me onto da couch and plays da music!  I think dat is what YOU should do when you get da storms Emmy!  It WEALLY works an ya get yer mama all to yerself! 
I think dat between da two of us we can get all of dees things figured out WEALLY good!  Don't you? 
I wrote to you where you told us bout yer new brudder.  How is dat going?  Does he unnerstand dat YOU are da Pwincess of da house?  Tell yer mama dat my mama wants to see pictures of you in yer pwetty new sweater!  Dat would be nice!

If they are helping carring sticks better be careful you know one of those sticks can get stuck in your mouth and you can't get it out. my Momma had to take me to the dog hospital made me go to sleep to get the stick out Sticks can be very tricky be careful Patches.
