I also belong to a Doberman forum since Buddy is my first Doberman and Patches is my first Doxie I came here also just came from the Dobe forum one of its members just lost a young Dobe 12/05 birthday. He had threw up a sock and still was sick he had eaten two socks at the vets during surgery he threw up again got aspiration pneumonia and died. Just a reminder all that have puppies please be careful guess I was very lucky with Patches & the stick incidence.

Not just puppies.   My Rudy-Angel decided to eat a blanket at the age of 10.   The problem was that the blanket was polyester and would not digest (after that we only had cotton or wool blankets in the house).   He needed exploratory surgery on his stomach to remove the offending item.   He ended up with a scar running from his sternum to his groin as a "souveneir" from the experience.
