Ozzy here:  I got to goforaride and went to church with Mom.  She was serving dinner for some kids and grownups who were getting together to make Valentines for the kids to sell to make money to add some more bells for the bell choir.

I got to hang out in my carrier in the corner and got to watch the kids and grownups eat and make valentines.  They had some good-smelling beef stew, crusty bread, salad, and brownies, but I didn't get any of that!   :cussing:  Oops, shouldn't be doing that in church!

Anyway, people were telling Mom how good I was, that I didn't whine and cry to get out.

Mindy here:  It was my committee's time to serve the meal for this special event.  After kenneling Ozzy all day, I wasn't about to leave him alone for a good part of the evening.  He seemed very happy to hang out in his carrier and watch the proceedings.  We now actually have two sets of bells for the children's choirs.  One set is for the older children, but we recently bought a set for the very little kids to play.  These bells sit on the table, and the kids press down on a button that "rings" the bell.  The notes are coded to colors that the kids can recognize.  We are trying to purchase bells for adults, but those can be quite pricey.

Anway, the kids (and adults) love Ozzy, and we joke that Ozzy has been to church more than some of our members!

Awww.  Maybe next time, Ozzy can pop out of his crate and do some visiting.  Sounds like he's very social.

What a good boy Ozzy is!!!  And he has a good mom for taking him to church after he had been cooped up all day.  The bells sound real interesting.

How cool that you took Ozzy with you. We have the colored regular style bells for our children to use at our church, but the ones with the button for them to push sounds really interesting. I always love to watch them play. They have so much fun. It's also fun to be up in the choir and watch the adults who are having to flip through the cards with the colors/notes on them for the kids! They are really working hard!
