Hope everyone one had a wonderful holiday.  My sister in law and her kids were here for the holidays and then it was the brother-in-laws birthday on the 2nd and hubby took vacation so he has been around since the Fri before Christmas. We have been going almost every night and many times during the day.  Sister-in-laws new computer came so we had to get that going too.

Then we have the pups.  Zena got an eye infection for some reason and we started her on antibiotics  right before Christmas after 7 days it was no better so back she went and we put ointment in her eyes. The day after we got done with the antibiotics they got much worse so back to the vet for the 3rd time.  This time we are doing the ointment and steroid pills and a heavy duty antibiotic for 3 days.  We also took a culture to check to make sure it isn't a antibiotic resistant bug.  She had started to scratch them so she is wearing a collar to keep her paws away.  After one day of the new regime they looked 99% better!!!
Today is the last day of the antibiotics so I sure hope they continue to look good.  I took some pictures of them but I don't think I will post them she looks so pitiful.

Now we can get some rest and finish all the things we were supposed to get done over the holidays.

I hope Zena continues to improve.  I know what you mean about the holidays.  I had 11 days off in a row and managed to NOT get anything done that I had planned to, although I did a lot of other stuff, like get back into the habit of taking daily walks outside.  Its been nice and cold and snowy, and so pretty out on my walks in our mainly wooded area.  Just gotta watch out for the moose.
