DeeDee, the pictures are GREAT!!!!!!  I really cannot pick out one I like the best.  I love them all.  Guess I'll have to make a trip to Washington to get pictures of my gang.

These are great. I do believe you could have another business starting. I'm sure you have plenty of time to have one more! Meghan was looking at the pictures and asked how you managed to get Hallie to sit so still. I told her "lots of training and treats and mostly love". I think love is the main thing!

Hi Annie!  :hello:
Sure come on out LOL I will need lots of practice. I can just see trying to get a whole group of doxies together looking at the same thing at the same time. Doxie Rodeo!

Aww Teresa, I have to admit that is one thing that isn't a problem with her, she's so used to me posing her for this or that, she cooperates really well. I am trying not to bore her, I don't want her to hate seeing the lights come out. So I'm only setting her up for a couple of minutes and dishing out treats in between then we quit. LOL on another career....what the heck you can only get so wet, right!

Okay, I am officially blown away.  Could she BE ANY MORE STUNNING????????????????
Maybe the holidays are making me feel a bit sentimental but I want to thank you DeeDee.  Your talent is amazing.  Your love for Hallie is humbling.  Thank you for sharing her with us.  God bless you...and Merry Merry Christmas to both you and your sweet baby.

I just love your pictures. You must have amazing patience. And Hallie is very photogenic.  She must have been a model in a past life!! She really knows how to work it. I would love some tips on getting my babies to pose like that.

Merry Christmas to you and Hallie. May Santa bring fullfill all your wishes!!
I am a better person because I have my Mimi and Tuttle and now Carson!!!

papbouv

Loved the pictures Hallie needs to talk to all the other dogs on the forum and tell them how to pose??? You take great pictures just love seeing them.

lucylu

Hallie is absolutely gorgeous!! How do you get her to sit so still and pose like that? Lucy knows a camera when she sees it and tends to run unless you sneek up on her.
Sing like you are in the shower, Dance like no one is watching, and love like you've never been hurt.

Roberta

When are you coming down under on your world wide dachie photo book.
She is gorgious and I see what you mean about the toy and the demure last photo `of that set.

Some day I hope to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am!!

Teresa

Kathy, Hallie may be BEGGING her mom to take you up on that. You might be one very lucky person here!

Thank you Terri! My secret isn't talent...it's the equipment lol. And a cute and cooperative model!  :thumb: I can see some huge Hallie poster on my walls future...Merry Christmas to you and your family, feet and paws, too Terri!

Mimismama, not much patience needed really, I only pose her and take photos for about a minute, lots of treats and praise and then we stop. That's how we train obedience too, try to stop while they are still having fun and wanting to do more so we don't burn them out. I imagine at some point she it's going to get old to her so I am trying to pace ourselves LOL I wish I could take pictures of her for an hour and try different things. I practice on her stuffed toy that looks like her. She "works for food" really well so it doesn't take much to get her to pose. Merry Christmas to you too!!!

Thanks Papbouv I was a little nervous ordering this stuff wondering if I would enjoy it, no regrets now though. I may do some photo shoots to help pay for the stuff like I did with the cameras and lenses, I should have done this in October so I could have set up for pet Christmas photos. What I really want to do though is learn to do some artsy, more unusual shots of some kind..

LucyLu I have shown Hallie in obedience and we've trained for the last 5 years so it makes it a whole lot easier when she's already trained to sit stay, down stay, stand stay, raise her paw, etc. And I hold up a treat and move it around to turn her head the way I want it. She gets like Lucy when we are outside though, I took too many pictures of her without thinking she was getting bored and now she will ignore me when I point a camera at her outside. LOL.

LOL I don't know about a book Roberta but there just may be a Hallie calendar next year (12 moods of Hallie's hair?)  :thumb: I should have had this stuff when we had the Bow Wow's here that would have been really fun!!!

Hi Kathy!! Thanks! I'll bet Katie is growing up! How did you guys make it through the wind storm?

Teresa, I need a little more practice but then will need some "victims"! So you never know!!  I already have a ton of friends lined up for "target practice." I even am going to attempt a horse! I need a much bigger spot to set this up to take photos lol.

Posters....Now I'm getting an idea. You know the Zelda posters, with the bulldog? You could start doing Hallie posters. She could be prim and proper. We just need to come up with the captions. My idea, and this could be fun with the winter blahs about to hit, is this-You start posting the pics of Hallie and the Weiner Writing people start suggesting the captions for the pictures/posters. You already have a marketing site, so this could be fun! Just remember, we need to be able to order the posters! The best part is they aren't so expensive to produce! Of course, it could always end up in a greeting card line too....

Hmmm you know I work for a card company, I should ask them about this. The thing I keep thinking though is we are all so in love with our own kids, we might think something is more marketable than the general population. LOL. (I'd probably be the best customer!) Food for thought though! And would be a whole lot of fun trying! Woot!

We did ok during the power outage. Five days...but w/ a generator and a woodstove we were fine! My Golden friends were freakin' b/c I was MIA. They actually called our Sheriif's dept. and asked them to do a welfare check on us! Bless their golden hearts! We have no cell phone so that is something we might have to change since our home phone goes out w/ the cable.
Some day I hope to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am!!
