It doesn't seem like Hallie is tiring of them either!   Great piccys! 

Once again, Hallie seems to alternate between silly and regal.   I've started noticing that Zora has the same traits (as opposed to Zeke who is just plain silly all the time, except when he is trying to be territorial).

Well, just cuter than cute!  Is Hallie left-pawed?  I know Brekke is!  She will frequently raise her left paw like Hallie in the third picture, and look like she's about to shake paws/hands...

The first one looks like she is saying here we go again I just love the one where she is holding up her left paw looks like she is saying HI.How did you ever get her to do a play bow they are Great Pictures.Hallie love having her picture taken you can tell she is a real ham about it really gets to posing.

David I know just what you mean, you are very right about that. Interesting that Zora can transform like that too, I could see that from her photos! She and Zeke both sound like a couple of characters I am sure they are helping you and Margie heal from your huge loss...

I never thought about it Julia but yes I think she must be left pawed! She always uses her left. She and Brekke must be soul sisters back there somewhere they have so many similarities.

Roberta those fuzzy slippers go all the way up her little leggies LOL. I keep her pads pretty short but I'm sure the bottoms of her feet would be pretty fuzzy too if I let them go.

LOL Papbouv, she actually is doing the opposite of a bow...she starts in a down and raises her butt up. She came up with that by herself, and very clever too actually. I had taught her to do the "stand" for obedience. I put my hand out, palm down and say "stand" and she stands, from a sit. I didn't want her to move her front end in the show ring when she stood so I taught her the stand by sitting her then teaching her to not move her front end, but to just raise her butt up into a stand. So one day she was laying down and I wondered if she would stand from a down, so I gave her the signal and command...and she stayed down in front and stood up in the back like this. I about died laughing, she figured she was taught to leave her front end where it was and raise her butt when told to stand! So then I turned it into a trick, I now will have her sit, walk across the room from her, and I'll say "On your mark!" and she lays down. Then I say "Get SET!" and she raises her butt up in the air like in the picture. Then I say "GO!!" and she spins her wheels and takes off running to me as fast as she can. So for this picture, I just put her in a down and gave her the "stand " command.

I wish I had had this one in time to make photos for our Christmas Cards this year!

Oh my gosh Dee Dee...she's is just absolutely adorable...I can't pick which one is my favorite....I'm leaning towards the left paw one though....may I ask what is the white background you use?...I love the white behind her....
I love the Christmas Picture too....I saved that one for next years Christmas wallpaper for my puter!

Now I understand the need for obedience training. It's so that you can get your dog to pose!  Great pics as usual, DeeDee. I love the ones with the paw. Sophie is right pawed by the way.  I like the change you made to lighting as well, some shadow on her left helps and I like a single catchlight in her eyes rather than two.

Hi Cheryl! How are the girls?? The background is Superior Arctic white seamless paper. It is on a 9 foot long roll hung from background stands and it takes up my entire living room lol. I wanted to start with white because I love the high key look. I have 20 gels though of different colors that will change the background color, I just don't have my backlight stand yet to try them. I also want a brownish "old masters" muslin backdrop and maybe black seamless paper.

LOL Rich I was thinking the same thing, this is the best reason for all that obedience training. :) That is really interesting about Sophie being right pawed!! Most horses are left hooved (I guess you'd call it) and I just figured dogs were lefties too. How are the kids?

Good eye on figuring out what the changes were to the lighting! I left one 45 degrees to the front of her and dialed up clear up and moved the other to her side and dialed it clear down. I think it would look more dramatic when I get a dark background so the dark side of her will not be popping out so much in front of the white. As you know this photography stuff is really addictive!
