If anyone has purchased a BOBO for their doxie, please let me know how durable they are.  Are they easily shredded?  I want to get my three a BOBO each for Christmas.  Thanks.

Kari

I think they are pretty durable - Penny has had the same one for months. But then again she isn't a destroyer

Hey Patty....  Bobo's are really quite durable.  Buelah is my Queen of Destuffing and she has not shredded her bobo yet.  Besides that, if ANY toy can hold up with my four I figure it's good!
I posted the link to Dachshund Delights this morning.  They are a few dollars less expensive there and they offer a variety of sizes. Of course, you have to pay for shipping so it probably evens out but I always end up ordering extra stuff and they charge a flat fee for shipping so I think I make out okay.   I got a little one for Beatrice and it is currently Buelah's favorite toy.  Beatrice rather enjoys the larger one even though it is longer than she is!

Brandy only plays every once in a while - Rudy LOVES his toys and doesn't tear them up.  We have 2 Bobo's that are still intact !!!!

Yes, I saw that you posted the site so I took a look.  The Bobos are very reasonable, even with shipping to Mars, ooops, I mean Alaska.  Dachshund Delights don't punish me in the shipping department, which, if they did, I wouldn't buy from them.  They have some nice stuff.  Willy is my #1 destroyer, I just wonder how long a Bobo would remain stuff with him.

Schatzi is a destroyer. When she got her Bobo last year, it managed to survive about 5 hours, maybe a little more. That was 5 hours total playing time with it. That was also a record and she enjoyed every minute of it. She also carried around the empty Bobo for the longest afterward and I found a small piece of it just last week. The thing that was so funny is that Bobo has two different squeakers. Once she got the one out of the head, she had to get to the one in the body. Instead of going from the other end, she destuffed from the head down! It was hilarious to watch. It would have taken her longer, I think, if Randy didn't keep making Bobo make noise and encourage her. That was because he thought it was funny to see her whole face inside the Bobo trying to reach the squeaker!
Soooo, it can be destroyed, just takes a little longer and is more fun to watch!

I can see the fuzzy stuffing all over my wood floor already!!!

It is easy to clean up!!!  Zack is my destroyer and he can desqeaker any toy ....at least the first sqeaker in 1/2 an hour. Zena's lasted about 1 1/2 days till he managed to get ahold of it.

I Still think the Bobos are worth it to watch them trying to destuff them and also watching them carrying them around. You have to get the long ones. That is the funniest to watch. I plan to get Schatzi another one for Christmas. This time, I'm going to sew it back together after the stuffing is gone!
I really wish the company that makes the Dr. Noys toys (that are lined inside with lambswool and have NO stuffing) would make something shaped like Bobo. Now THAT would be fun to watch! Anything that is Dr. Noys has no stuffing. You can find them in most pet catalogs. If you don't see any, let me know and I'll find a link for you.

GREAT PICTURE OF PENNY AND HER BOBO!!!!!  Cute!

papbouv, Have you tried going to flickr.com? You can upload your pictures to flickr and then post them to the site. Flickr will resize them for you. I'll also look and see if there is a simple way to do it in the Windows My Picture menu.

I've done some investigating. Go to http://www.freewarehome.com/index.html?http%3A//www.freewarehome.com/Graphics/Graphic_Manipulation/Image_Resizing_t.html

Go down to the PhotoResize 400 listing. It is freeware and I have downloaded and tried it. It is pretty easy to use. Just go to the website it lists and read the directions. It is almost too easy. I was making it much more complicated than it was. This will resize any photo you put into the program and save it, but it won't delete the original-size photo.  Hope this helps!

How long do BoBo's last?

Champ - 22 minutes until eyes and squeakers are gone and less that 50% of the stuffing remains in the shell.

Smokey -  44 minuets until Champ had the squeaker out and less that 50% of the stuffing remains in the shell.
(Smokey was not happy)

Both dogs got their BoBo's at the same time but Smokey's lasted longer because Champ was busy with his own before he got to Smokey's.

I can't remember when I bought Chilie's Bobo, but she still has it and plays with it often.  It's also in pretty good condition.  She likes to chew on the ears.  Other than being little "loved" it's been a pretty durable toy for her.

Gads what a CUTE SHOT of Penny with her Bobo! She should be on the commercial!

A BoBo would lsat Hallie 20 years...she likes to squeek and shake her toys and sometimes toss them around but she never tries to tear them apart. (that is why she has over 100 toys....she loves new ones but the old ones last forever and I don't have the heart to throw any of her "babies" away she likes them all)

Ok tried making Patches & Bobo picture smaller the reason Patches mouth looks funny is she had the felt pieces of Bobo in her mouth which I did not know at the time.

AdOrAbLe!!! Patches is a little sweetheart. Great shot love the felt smile LOL.

I didn't realize BoBo's came in pink, isn't the one on the commercial a pale yellow?

The pictures of Penny and Patches are just precious!  I love the chubby little chipmunk cheeks!
Bobo's come in lots of colors DeeDee.  Buelah has a yellow one and Beatrice has a tiny little pink one.  The boys are usually not interested in toys.  Unless you can count the Baby Dog as a toy.... which of course they do!

Here at fleet farm you can get them in hot pink, lime green, & kind of an aqua color too will see if I can get ahold of all colors and post a picture.

I didn't realize they came in so many colors! Hallie loves her BoBo he is one of her favorites that she will grab first. She also loves Pink Princess who is just like BoBo but is a poodle and makes a funnier noise when she squeeks them. Nobody has made her react like Pink Princess does it has a high pitched squeel that makes her stop, tip her head and prick her ears, then she attacks! Her BoBo is the yellow, like on the commercial. She got both from her godparents in Texas  :thumb: (Ron and Delia and girls) and they are still in the top 10 favorites out of her 100+ toys. I'd like to see that picture Merion!

LOL Terri the thing about baby dog toys is they get bigger!
