I've just adopted . . . a baby gorilla

Call me crazy, but I fell in love with the orphaned gorilla's at the the Diane Fossey Gorilla Sanctuary on Anderson Cooper 360 last night.  So when CNN posted the website for the organization I went and signed up to adopt one of these beautiful creatures.  I know they aren't the 4 legged furkids we love but these babies are fast losing their homes to humans and from what I heard last night there are only about 300 to 350 Mountain Gorillas left in the DR of Congo.  When I get my new baby's picture I'll post it.  Here is a link to the organization:

You are very adventerous to take that on!!!   I would love to see pictures of your new baby.  When i was growing up I always told my mom I was going to be a momma chimpanzee when I grew up.  So far that hasn't happened yet.  I imagine you are very busy with your new baby since they require so much care when they are young.

That is so cool Marcia. And very giving of you to adopt one of these guys. Will you get any special privileges to go see him or anything? Probably a good thing Sam and Eddie don't know they have a new gorilla brother LOL. I'll bet he's CUTE.
