update on Patty

I got an e-mail from Patty's mom - the surgery went fine and at the time she sent the e-mail Patty was still in recovery.  Dan was supposed to call her back if he was able to see her last night.  She said she would keep us updated - so it sounds like all went well !!!!

That's good news.  One of my co-workers had a hysterectomy last spring.  She was only off work for 16 days.  Hopefully Patty's recovery will be as quick.

Glad to hear that things went smooth.  Knowing Patty, she won't be down for long.  I bet the dachsies will LOVE the extra BED time.

Sending more healing rays north and a bit west.   Good to know surgery went well, and now we are hoping the same for her recovery.

The report I got today from Patty's Mom said she is not in much pain but the morphine was making her sick so she is on motrin. She had gotten up for a short walk but is real tired still. But overall sounds like she's doing well! She's a tough lady. I hope she can somehow get online from home it would be great to hear from her while she's recouperating. It's been really nice of her Mom to keep us all updated. I'll bet the doxies miss their Mom!!

edit: Just got a new update (Barb did too! :)) that Patty is home and feeling a lot better than she did yesterday.

I've been out of town with no access to email for a few days.  This is great news!

Patty is home, resting on the sofa bed downstairs, with 3 doxie nurses watching over her.  Her mom and sister will be bringing food in - so hopefully Patty is resting the days away watching movies and reading !
