1. Where do you live? Broken Arrow, OK (suburb of Tulsa)

2. Spouse? Significant other?   Not at this time - I’m recently (and very happily) divorced.

3. Children - how many and ages. Just my furbabies: Berman " 3 ½ yrs and Lucy " 1 ½ yrs

4. What do you do for a living? Director of Distribution at an audio marketing company " Impressions On Hold (www.iohi.com).  I’ve been there for almost 8 years now.

5. If you dare.....your age and describe yourself ! 31(EEK!) 5’2” long brown hair & braces (to be removed September 27!!)

Here I am in NYC with a police officer

Here I am with my friends - I'm in the upper right corner in the denim jacket

6. What is your dream car/vehicle? Color? Just got a 2004 Explorer " dark pearl blue " loving it right now!

7. Other than your passion for dachshunds, what are your hobbies? Teaching myself how to knit - over and over again, gardening, garage sale-ing, spending time with friends and family, fixing up my house, torturing weiner kids while they try to sleep

8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Greece or Cape Cod.  I think Greece would be the most amazing place " the history, the food "everything!  Cape Cod looks very serene " someplace I could definitely relax.

9. Do you collect anything? I’ve started collecting cookbooks " just from places I visit or ones that catch my eye at garage sales or flea markets. I also like retro stuff - like from the 50s and 60s - just little knick-knacks or what nots.

10. Favorite Food/ Favorite junkfood. "I like anything Southern " deep fried and covered in gravy or ranch dressing! A few of my favorite things " fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, corn on the cob, fried chicken, fried catfish...you get the picture! I also LOVE sushi and any kind of cookie.

11. Favorite Movie: Waiting to Exhale and anything by Christopher Guest (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, etc) and anything by Wes Anderson (The Royal Tennebaums, The Life Aquatic, etc)

12. Favorite Color: pink or chocolate brown

13. Favorite Song/Artist: song = Red Red Wine - UB40 version / artist = GEEZ!  I like just about everything and everyone- Jack Johnson, ABBA, George Strait, The Moody Blues, Beyonce', The Dixie Chicks, Jay Z - you name it, I probably like it!

14. Tell us a funny story about yourself: I’m not sure how funny this is if you don’t really know me, but I’ll give it a shot. When I was little (my sister claims around 2 or 3), my sister and I were playing "rodeo" by my dad's barn in this pen area.  Rodeo consisted of me sitting on the pipe fence working the "admissions gate".  My sister came riding up on her bike to pay to get in to the rodeo.  She was on her bike and was holding onto the end of one of the pipes.  Well, I slammed the gate shut and said "Rodeo's closed!"  not realizing my sister's pinky was inside the pipe.  Needless to say, her pink was ripped almost clean off and I was pretty sure I'd killed my sister.  I think I cried more than she did on the way to the emergency room!  To this day, she stills shows me her crooked pinky to remind me of this tragic event.

15. What is the most exciting thing you have ever done? Swinging on the trapeze on my 31st birthday this year and working cattle for the first time at my dad’s ranch.  You don’t wanna know what my job was! That’s my sister with me after working cattle for about 6 or 8 hours.

16. If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money? " Put at least ½ in savings or invest it then buy a new house for my sister and my mom and myself and pay off all of our debt.  I’d love to travel for about a year or so " just get it out of my system.  Of course I’d have to buy all new toys for Berman and Lucy!

17. What are you most proud of? Handling my recent divorce with dignity and respect.  I think I surprised a lot of people " myself included! I never realize how strong of a person I am.

18. Any other tidbits about you that you would like to share? Come on.....  I’m from a very small town in Oklahoma " Wynona. The population of the entire town is around 550 and I graduated high school with 8 other people.  I find that completely normal and everyone else around me cannot believe such a place exists! My grandpa was mayor there for about 10 years and my grandparents and mom still live there.

What an interesting write up, Jenny!  You sound like a very cool person.  How neat that your grandpa was Mayor!  Explorers are great vehicles.............good Alaska cars, like my Escape.  I think its so neat that you did the trapeze on your birthday, that looks like it was a lot of fun.  Been to Cape Cod and its the most amazing place.  And UB40 really does a great job with Red Red Wine.  Enjoy your day and best of luck to you and your furkids now that you are a free woman.

Happy, POD, Jenny!  I hope you had a great day and have a good evening.  Is the sister in the piccy your only sister, or is she another without the crooked pinky?  I think your trapeze thing is pretty cool - Rick and I both don't do heights too well!   I hope Berman and Lucy lose a little nap time, thanks to the hoomom!

Happy POD Jenny!  Great write-up.  I also grew up in a small town.  You know you live in a small town when your parents know what kind of trouble you got into before you get home!
Luke Skywalker:  "I, I don't believe it!"  Yoda:  "That is why you fail."

The sister in the pic is my only sister - she's 4 years older than me and my very best friend (despite trying to rip her pinky off!).  The adventurous side of me came out just recently (during the separation/divorce process).  I guess I just thought I needed to prove something to myself and everyone around me!
