Marcia from MI

Sam and Eddie here:

We came home Thursday, but mom was so tired from her trip that she couldn't help us write this until today.  Dr Cindy took really good care of us, but we had to have baths before we could come home.  Our kitty girls really missed us even if they won't admit it.

Sam here - I like my big bed better than Dr. Ciny's kennel any day.
Eddie here I sure missed my crate at home.

Marcia here - Nawlins was fantastic.  We stayed in the French Quarter and after being there 24 hours it felt like home.  I took a tour of the Lower Ninth Ward and St Bernard Parish - what you see on television doesn't begin to describe the destruction that still needs to be taken care of.

40 people from CNN were staying at my hotel, including Anderson Cooper, whom I had the pleasure of meeting twice in one day.  He is a very nice, caring person, who really believes in what he is doing and is an all around fantastic person.  But I am so glad to be home, I have so many blisters from all the walking I did that I am just now able to walk without limping.

I know the boys are glad to be home, and you are recuperating fom blisters - quick rays for that!  How cool that you met Anderson Cooper!  But now for the important stuff - where did you eat?

Haha Julia- I wanted to know about the food, too! It is great that you had a wonderful trip Marcia. I'm sure it was eye-opening seeing everything first-hand.

Welcome home, Marcia!  I'm so glad you had a good time.  I bet the boys read you the riot act for leaving them, though.  Are they sticking to you like glue now?
