1.  Where do you live?           Kalispell Montana

Right near Glacier National Park. 


Come for a visit.  I like playing tour guide.


  But I am originally a Connecticut Yankee.


2.  Spouse?  Significant other?    Just eLlIe .

3.  Children - how many and ages. 
Two wonderful sons, 29 and 27  and three beautiful granddaughters. ... and two delightful  D-I-L's

4.  What do you do for a living? Retired .  I worked for a telephone company and a payroll company , among other things.

5.  If you dare.....your age and describe yourself !  The perfect age … somewhere between  “Younger than Springtime “  and  “Older than dirt”  And I already told you, no age, weight and distance from  floor to belly questions.

6.  What is your dream car/vehicle?   
  One with a paid off loan.   

7.  Other than your passion for dachshunds, what are your hobbies? Scrapbooking, / card making ,  Red Hat Society .     


8.  If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?            Ireland .             A cruise to Alaska     


9.  Do you collect anything?  Red Hat ‘Stuff” ,  green glass,  cats  ( glass, pottery, wood, metal  etc. )

10.  Favorite Food ….A good pot roast with potatoes, carrots and GRAVY.  Favorite   Junk food = Pizza

11.  Favorite Movie   I like movies ….. but have a bad memory when it comes to titles and actors’ names.

12.  Favorite Color    Green

13.  Favorite Song/Artist       “ God Bless The U.S. A. “

14.  Tell us a funny story about yourself.  I can think of two …….. but this is a family friendly site.

15.  What is the most exciting thing you have ever done?  Have kids !  Have grand kids.
Moved to Montana !

16.  If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money?  Buy a house.   
Help my kids  …..   How much did I win ???? ….. give to my sister,  brothers,  and friends.

17.  What are you most proud of?  My two boys and their families.   Making it on my own.

18.  Any other tidbits about you that you would like to share ?

I was born,raised, married  and boys were born in Milford, Connecticut.  Lived there for 42 years.

Happy POD, Ruth!  You have a lot to be proud of!  I forgot that one of your sons is a Marine.  Is he still in?  Stateside?  My mom grew up in Connecticut....I think it was near Mystic.  I do know it was near the ocean.

Both sons are Marines ...... Tim served for 8 years.  SSgt Dan is still active, he has been to Iraq twice. How do you like his breast ....... err Chest of medals ?

Great POD write-up Ruth.  I just love reading all about the folks on this board.  My father was a Connecticut Yankee too.  Sounds like you have two wonderful sons.  The three granddaughters.........so adorable!!!  Give Ellie a hug for me, she looks just like my late Harry, a wildboar wire.  Harry's coat was a real soft wire.  Is Ellie's like that?
