Prayers Needed for my Harley Girl...

Hello to all my my new Doxi Friends....

Prayers are needed for my mini-doxi... Miss Harley Girl... who was diagnosed last week with mouth and throat cancer... and the outlook is not good.... but... she IS a tough old girl (age 12-1/2). Our wonderful Vet operated and took out as much as she could of this nasty tumor....then she gave Miss Harley lots of hugs and kisses and some pain med so she would NOT be in any pain (God bless this woman--she DOES care about animals feelings !!)
Please, Please, PRAY

for my sweet fur baby....(My 9-lb. "Weiner Wonder" even saved me from being attacked by a vicious Rotweiler by chasing it away!!!) What a Girl !! So Brave !!
I adopted Miss Harley when she was 8 years old and being treated terrible by her "other" family. I have spoiled her totally rotten for 4-1/2 years since.... that IS what Doxi's are for....RIGHT?!
I do not want to let her go... but I will NOT let her suffer ... that is selfish and cruel. I am praying and praying that this tumor somehow will get smaller, and I can have her with me for a while longer. So, please.... send your prayers out to my baby.... Thank You all So Much..... ***DoxiMeMe***

Thank you for taking in this sweet girl and spoiling her rotten - that IS what we are supposed to do ! Sending rays and prayer that the tumor shrinks and you have more time with your baby. Please keep us updated on her progress and give her some sweet belly rubs from me !

You are MY hero! You have given Harley Girl the wonderful home she deserves! Bless you! So sorry to hear about her cancer. That's rough, but it truly sounds like you have an AWESOME Vet! Give little brave Harley a kiss from me. What a beautiful person you are! A spoiled rotten dachsie is a GOOOOOD thing. :apls: Praying for her comfort and yours.

Thanks so much for the Rays and Prayers.... My Miss Harley made it thru the weekend with no "bad times"... but she did have to get pain meds. I boiled her some chicken breasts & ground it up real fine in the food processor (she can't chew anything)... & she LOVES that.... :hello2: I do anything to make her happy!
So... once again...thank you all for the good wishes... & please keep your Rays & Prayers coming.

I just saw your post today! It breaks my heart. Sending prayers your way!! I am so sorry you are going through such a rough time. It is always hard when they get cancer. My childhood dog, Brittney, ( a spaniel) died last January of lung cancer, so I know it is hard. Just remember Harley girl has lived a long life and the last four and a half years with you have been her happiest!!! Bless you for taking such great care of her!

Wow - this one hits really close to home. I lost my sweet Annie last year to cancer so I certainly know what you are going through. Just keep your girl comfortable and continue to give her all the love in the world. I'm tearing up as I write this cause it's still so fresh in my heart. We're all sending you lots of hugs and prayers to ease the pain that both of your are feeling right now.
