The birds and the bees

Porky here: I learned two important things on my walk this morning.  Momma and I were walking and we heard a loud bird.  It sounded pretty angry, but we kept walking.  Then all of a sudden, the bird swooped down and pecked me in da head!!!   Ouchie that hurt.  I started to run and it just swooped more.  Den I saw momma just standing dere.  She wasn't moving and so I went to check on her and see why she wasnt 'tecting me from dose birds.  All around her was bees!!!  'parently they liked her shirt!   Since mom is 'llergic to dem she had to stand real still so dey would leave.     

Lesson number one:  When birds swoop, run FAST!!!
Lesson number two:  when bees come stand still and dey go away. 

Bet you thought this topic was gonna be about somefing else.    


Porky's mom:  I can't believe the birds this morning they were sure angry at us for walking in their territory!!  Well, mainly angry at Porky.  THen just as I was trying to help him I got surrounded by the bees.  So I guess you could say we had a morning full of the birds and the bees.     Luckilly, neither of us were hurt.  Porky is a little more cautious outside now.  We went out this afternoon and he looked all around before he would take another step off the porch. All of the excitement must have worn him out because he has been sleeping for an hour!!

Those birds must have had babies they were protecting.  Glad Porky wasn't hurt.  And, oh my, BEES.  Glad everything turned out okay for you too, Mom.
