I made Momma Proud!!

Yesterday Momma and I had such a good day!!!  We woke up and she took me for a long walk.   Then after the walk she held me and said, now you be good.  Then she went and taked a shower.   When she got out I was laying on the couch sleeping.   She looked all over the living room for any messes or ripped up thingies.  She didnt see any!! Cause guess what?! I didnt make any.

Momma picked me up and said she was proud of me and really epressed that I had been a good boy.   She also said I passed a major milestone cause thats the first time since I came here that she could take a shower and leave me outta that kennel without any problems.    Then I got to go for another walk in the afternoon!! 

I eben let momma do her laundry without eating any of it!!!  On our second walk, I walking nice by momma's side like she taught me and then we saw a neighbor man and he said he was epressed at how well I was walkin cause he has a doxie too and they dont walk so good.  Momma told him we een practicin'  and the man asked momma to take out his dog to teach him to walk.  His name is Chester, but he don't like me. I'll keep trying to be his friend. 

Needless to say, I got lots of treats!!!!  The secret is I'm being real good cause I luv my momma

Doxies are smart!!  they love to find "treasures" to destroy, but they also know what works to suck up to the Momma and get treats and extra bye bye trips.   Gotta love 'em!!! 
My boy's favorite "treasure" is an empty toilet paper roll, I always know when he has one, the rapid thudding running through the house, almost like he wants the chase.  I yell, "What have you got?" and he rolls over all innocent with the roll in his mouth, like "Here Mommy, I got you a present"  makes me laugh everytime and of course I have to love all over him.  If I don't catch him he eats it.
