We need a bigger big bed!

Dis is Buelah and I must say dat I am gettin a little tired of having to make room in dis bed for my hoomans.  I really think dat dey need to rethink dis queen size bed situation.  Course, because it's da QUEEN bed it belongs to me me me! Hummm....maybe dey should give me my own ROOM!

Buelah dis is Bish an lemme tell you eben my Cal King bed isnt big enough esp. wif my new baby sister she takes up da good spot right on da corner of momma's pillow! An I eben heard my dad tell momma dat he wants to get anober stinky puppy in like 6 mos Momma told him dat we is an espensive habbit but she pwefurs us to dose nasty ciggies what eber dose are. She eben said she would rather have 15 of us pushin her of da bed (we only gib momma 6" to sleep on  and dad gets 2' cuz he snores) den any hooman babies! I dont fink dad belibes her doe. Well I  :xfinger: oops I mean paws crossed dat maybe your momma can spring for a bigger bed. I know my momma wishes dat we would gib her more room to sweep on.

LOL yes....I'd say you do need a bigger bed. Or the hoomans might be sleeping on the floor!

 :thumb: and  :apls: to all dose puppers who execute operashun push da hoomans outta da big bed.  Me(Dolly) and Maddie are exspurts at dis.  Maddie, all ten pounds of her, once made papa land right on the FLOOR and in our high bed, dats a LONG ways down.  I like to puuuuuush wiff my feeties and spring loaded legs.  That usually assures that I get LOTS of bed and mommy gets her standard 3 inches.  We dachsies who sleep in da big bed are lucky dawgs, ain't we?

Isn't it amazing that a 10lb doxie can position herself just right and make a grown human sleep on 6 inches of a bed, in our case a King size one. Schatzi does this to me every night. She knows just how to lock those paws and keep me from moving. Randy calls it using Brains over Brawn. I have to agree with him. Terri, it may be time to move to the next size-of course, they will still have you sleeping on the edge.

We have a king bed and 3 doxies sharing it. I am glad they are small and Tofu prefers to get in bed anbd get lovies and then he goes to a crate. Siggy sleeps curled up with me and Billy sleeps on Franks's side. At one point we had 10 counting fosters but we have since wised up and don't let the fosters sleep with us. I feel guilty but I do need my rest.  :crazyeyes: I wished I would have gotten a picture of this. Duke would always sleep on Frank's side and the rest would line up on my side. So I would have nine little weenies lined up with the back feet up against me and their noses sticking out of the covers and hanging over the side of the bed.

I have thought about putting a toddler bed in our room to see if they would use it but I doubt they would. You know those doxies have to be touching the humans.

   I thank God we only have one.  Porky is a terrible bed hog though, so he usually gets to sleep in the big bed only at naptimes or when his hudaddy is away.  My brother has a standard size doxie (Bandit)  who loves to sleep with my mom, dad, the cat, all his toys, his blankets and any thing else he sees close to the bed.  Luckilly my dad works nights, so there is usually (barely) enough room for the humans to fit! 

I loved the post about 10 doxies in the bed!  Makes me think of the song, there's 10 in the bed. LOL

I had to laugh....I don't think ANY bed is big enough when doxies are involved !!!!  We have a king size bed...and of course my 2 sleep on my side - dad has plenty of room !!!!   They curl up touching me - but also stretch out full length.....so I still sleep like a pretzel...making sure THEY are comfy - LOL !!!
