Hi Everyone!
Its me, King Sol, and my trusty sidekick SBD (aka Kirby)!
Mom and Dad are very busy with two businesses this summer, but we all think of you guys A LOT. 
An update on us:

Our Brudder Jon (USMC Corporal) came home FOR GOOD from the Marines on June 18.  He went to Iraq twice, and was stationed in North Carolina the last three years.  Mom, Dad, and both dogs got to go to NC when Jon's group came back from their last tour overseas on May 3rd.  Was a very emotional experience for all.  Solomon thought he needed to bark at ALL people in camoflauge (on a Marine base thats a LOT of barking!) in case they were his brother Jon.  Jon is going to college about an hour from home this fall. Mom is not sleeping sound yet, but 4 years of sleeping with one eye and one ear open takes a while to unlearn.

Cuzzin' Britaini is here for the summer again.  Some of you know her cuz she is Jackson's momma - and Sam and Chip live with her too.  She is workin' with Mom and Dad an I (Sol) get to sleep with her.  I think I like her more than Mom, but don't tell her.

Our dogsitter Stuart has developed an allergic reaction to us (I think its stinky baby dog, but WHATEVER) so now we have a new dogsitter.  Her name is Jamie and she loves us LOTS.  We don't need a sitter too much though, cuz we still go to work with mom and dad.  Oh, we solded our office building and now we are moving our work.  There will be a lot of stuff to do so Mom and Dad will still be busy.

Thats it.  Me, Sol - am swimming and sunning and napping.  OH!  And I am in a contest at the vet.  The dog that loses the most weight in their classification gets a year free dog food.  I guess I can starve myself for a little bit cuz I bet I can eat the whole year of food at one time.  WOO HOO.  If you think I am buff call me at 1-800-SOLB-BUFF.  BAROOOO.

Kirby is learnig to swim, but I still swim better than him.  He likes to jump on my back, but I just gotta show my teeth and then he lays down.

P.S.  Stinky Baby Dog turned TWO on Sunday.   I still say you shouldn't get an SBD if you don't ASK for one, but he sometimes doesn't eat his treats so I get more.  Guess he's okay, but I still would rather have a marrow bone than a four legged brudder!

Zack can now sympathize with you Sol he has his bratty sister Zena to contend with.  :crazyeyes:
She turned 6 months on Friday. She is quit the handful and is keeping us all on our toes.

Hey King Sol!  It's good to hear from you and your family.  Sounds like your mom and dad are BUSY!!!  Love the pictures of you and SBD.  Looks like you're teaching him the basics of fishing.  I know you can win that contest at your vet's office.  You're DA KING!!  A free year's supply of food?  That's some good motivation.  Good luck!

Glad to hear that your hooman brudder is home safe and out of the Marines.  I hope he's doing ok.  Tell your mom that I know all to well about sleeping with an eye and an ear open!  It took me a while before I realized I didn't need to bring my cell phone to bed anymore!

I absolutely LOVE the first picture of them "watching the bobber". They look like brothers, there, for sure. Thanks so much for the update. I hope the office move goes smoothly and things settle down a little. I know you are thrilled that Jon will be going to school close to home. I'm sure you are spoiling him and making up for lost time. Check in when you can.
