Hey folks we are on our way to Montana and Yellowstone...will be taking photos...Dachsies are going.

Brekkesmom

Don't let them get too close to Old Faithful!  It is beautiful - at least it was back in 1970 when we went there for vacation.  The trails to the upper and lower fall is very scenic, but narrow - so if the doglets are going with you on those, keep tight holds on those leashes!

I am going to post photos when I get back. I just know the dachsies are going to love this. Truely beautiful.  It will be something I need too cause it is a photogenic area and I am a photographer.

Dee Dee and Hallie

I can't wait to see your photos too. It sounds like a wonderful trip. I did a photo tour and art workshop there once. Have a great time. What kind of camera equipment do you use?

Dee Dee,

I have a Nikon D50 with a 28-80 mm lens and a 70 to 300 mm telephoto lens, I also have a tripod, multiple filters including a polarizer, a quantry 2x teleconverter, a light disc, and multiple other stuff.

Dee Dee, I feel this is a good time to tell you I also have graphic arts experience and I ended up saving your brotherly love picture and I graphically fixed it. I will delete it if you do not want me to hold on to it, but I wanted to be truthful with you

lotsodachs

Dee Dee,

it is deleted, if you decide that you would like me to hold a copy, I can do the work again it took all of ten minutes.

lotsodachs

This will be a 5 to 7 day trip so expect photos in about 1 week

Dee Dee and Hallie

Gosh, you didn't have to delete that. I don't mind at all! I'd love to see it, of course you can use it.

You have some nice camera gear. I really got into photography this year too and we were doing shoots every weekend, (dog and horse events) and had every weekend booked this summer. When this happened with Hallie though I have cancelled everything. I have canon stuff, 20D, Mark II, 28-75 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 200 1.8 and 300 2.8. And the other stuff, tripod, 580EX flash, 1.4 teleconverter, RRS ball head and sidekick, etc. We use the epson R800 for the prints (I also have an epson 4000 for my art prints and larger photo prints). It's fun and I also get great reference for paintings. Our photo site is at www.murryphotography.com. Anyway will look forward to the photos you get at Yellowstone, hope you see a lot of wildlife. I'm sure the doxies will love it.!

Dee Dee,

thanks for the permission, I have fixed it again, it is a made to look like a old photograph. I hope you enjoy. After all it is your work and I only took it one step further. Truly beautiful, also I renamed it sisterly love as it reminds me of the girls when they were younger.

Oh and thanks for the site link I will keep up with your photography too, apparently the wildlife and domestic animals sections are still under construction, I will check the site periodically to see if there is progress.

Dee Dee and Hallie

That looks really cool. Makes me think of a metal plaque almost! The models for this was Clarese's boys as babies, I had to change colors on them poor guys. :)

Yes I haven't had time to put up the photos for those sections, we got into the events photography so fast we were overwhelmed right off the bat. It is really strange not being able to go out and take photos right now, I haven't been housebound for this long for a really long time but I'm sure getting caught up on things around here!

Dee Dee,

the girls say to tell Miss Hallie to take it easy but to get some walks and belly rubs. We will be back in about 1 week and we want to hear that Missy Hallie is on the mend. We will have more photos and we will be enjoying them. I really love seeing cute lil Hallie running around in the photos you have, makes me sad to think she can't do it now.  Bring Miss Hallie back to health Dee Dee so we can see her in action for years to come. I will keep you both in my thoughts as we are in Montana and Wyoming. Take Care, we'll be back soon.

Thanks...she had a set back this afternoon which has me scared to death again. She cried when I went to set her down to potty, I thought she was feeling 100% but obviously not. :( I am not good at this stuff, I am exhausted and so sick of being worried to death I just want her to be 100% again. I hate that this will be looming over us forever now. She LOVES to run, I just thought she should be pretty much healed by 2 weeks and planned to keep her crated the full time anyway. I am so worried about my little girl.

Have a wonderful trip to Yellowstone.
Have you ever been to Glacier National Park...... in northwestern Montana?  That's our part of the state.

got a temporary connection in Bozeman Montana. Things have been going well on the trip, went to Look Out Pass, Idaho.
Then we went over the Idaho/Montana border and went to 10,0000 silver dollar saloon. proceeded onward to several
small towns and are now in Bozeman which really isn't all that large either.  Saw Lewis and Clark Caverns park.
Dachshunds are doing awesome Molly seems to be enjoying the fresh Montana air, and both Modem and her are enjoying
new sights and scents. Posting some photos when I get home don't have time to shrink photos in photoshop now. Sorry
will have to wait until then.

Dee Dee,

Hallie will recover give her time and allow her some baby steps, she is not going to rebound over night. Allow her excercise
but monitor her closely. Keep us posted on how you and Hallie are doing. Thanks for the update.

Ruth,

we will not be going by Glacier, we are going over Bear Tooth Pass. Hope to see wildlife and take more photos. Have took photos of a deer, a chipmunk, and several species of birds this trip and we are only 2 days into the trip there will be more. Photos when I get home
I promise.

Can I carry your luggage????  I've been to Yellowstone 7 times and am hoping for an eighth trip.  We are also planning to get to Glacier National Park within the next year or so.
