Hurray! Its my day!  This is big Dee.  I'm a big girl with a big heart.  I'm full of love and have lots of fun.
I don't like getting my picture taken, but mom will post the few that she managed to get.

Full Name:  Delilah, I'm named after the Warren Kimble print 'cause it looks just like me.
Everyone Calls Me: Dee, Dee-Dee Girl, Sweet Pea, Fatty, Mrs. Blubs, etc.
Age: 6
Gotcha Day: November 2006
Birthday: June 2000

Who I live with: Mom, Dad, and Frank
Hometown: Lehigh Valley, PA

Length from base of neck to tail:  Ha HA , mom couldn't fit under the bed to get me with that measuring thingy
Height from ground to top of head: see above
Height from ground to belly: ditto
Weight:  I was huge at about 29lbs, but mom has me on a diet, so I'm less than that now.
Hair Color: Beautiful black and red.  Mom says my coat shines like a black pearl
Eye Color: deep amber
Coat Type: smooth and very soft

Favorite People: mom, dad, Frank, my Gram, and for some reason, I love men with beards
Favorite Toy: "Squeak-squeak" I  "squeak-squeak" LOOOOVE my "squeak", lobster oh yes, and anything that squeaks
Best Treat:  Get this, I absolutely love getting a bath!  If mom want to get me in the house or out from under the bed she yells "Bath Time" and I come running.  I like treats too... carrots and chewies

Worst Torture: toes chopped and ear pokes
Where I sleep at night:  on my memory foam bed  complete with blankie for snuggling on the floor next to Frank and mom.  See I used to sleep in the big bed, but I fell out one night at 3 am.  Mom & dad had to rush me to the ER and guess what?....I broke my foot! So no more big bed.

Favorite Pasttime:  burrowing under anything, playing with my lobster and belly rubs

What do I do when my Hoomans are away: relax and keep Frank company

Favorite Things: Baths, going for walks or going Bye-Bye, belly rubs, being with my family

Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:
Dee was a horrible chewer when she was younger.  It lasted until she was about 2, and included things like destroying dog beds, shoes, and even gnawed a chunk out of concrete steps.  One day during this phase of hers, she was napping on a recliner next to Frank.  They were quiet, so I took advantage of the time to get some work done.  After about an hour they seemed to be to quiet, for too long so I went to check.  Dee had chewed completely through the recliner and was happily pulling out all of the stuffing.  Frank was still asleep in the chair, but was now covered in a huge cloud of stuffing.  It looked like a blizzard in my living room.  I wish I had taken a picture!

Aww, Delilah - you are so cute! I enjoyed your bio - thinking when you fell out of bed that you hurt your back - but no, it was a broken foot!  That must be the picture of you and your cast.  I  hope you get a bath today and some carrots!  Congratulaions on your DoD!

Dee, you are simply DEE-lightful!  I just want to smooch your face.  Your chewing habit reminds me of my first Dachsie, Dixie.  Boy howdy, was she ever a chewer.  Walls, beds, carpet and one day, she was outside being too quiet.  We went out to check and she had pulled pink insulation out from under the house. At that time, we lived in a condo. The whole patio looked full of pink cotton candy.
