I thought I would post some pictures of as many young dachsies as I could.  This one shows a young collie pup and Johanna von Dumas (first family dachsie) back in 1953 - she weighed 8 pounds when fully grown.

This is my one and only boy, Friedrich von Braun (Fritz) who was 3 for this one in 1974.

This one is my Heidi Kristin von Braun, in 1986.

Puppy power?  PUPPY LOVE!!!!  I love that last one of Brekke.  Goodness, they grow up so fast.

This is our precious Useless -  "Lucy" was her call name.  We got her when she was three - her owners kept her puppy and gave her to us!  This red smooth would stand up for wagon rides and sit down when you stopped.  We were reckless then, and she would run up the hill to my high school and the custodians would let her lick butter pats off the cafeteria floor!    Lucy would get her own ice cream dish when we went to the local Cow Shed - like a Dairy Queen. Left to right, my cousin, Ed (who died of a second brain tumor a few years ago) me at age 14, my cousin, Linda at age 11, and my sister, Joyce, at age 4.

This is Sorcha Rhiannon von Braun.  She was a retired mom of two litters when I got her, and she had a real issue with men, so when I married, my friend, Robyn, in Idaho took her in and we found out two months later that she had a brain tumor, so she was helped to the Bridge.  Sorcha was only with me less than a year, so I don't have too many pictures.
