Hello from Las Vegas! I am owned by a red smooth tweenie named Winnie. We have had her for a year and she was a gift from our daughter..she is 4 years old and thinks she is the Queen. My daughter say's she is living large at Club Med :thumb: We hope to make new friend's..

Welcome to the world of doxie friends. This is one of the best places to make friends from all over the world and also to learn just how much these dogs are loved by their owners. I've been on the board for almost 2 1/2 years and feel like I have friends everywhere. Often if I talk about them to someone else, the person seems surprised to find out that I haven't met these people face to face. I've seen a few babies born-all girls so far, but maybe a boy in December (Krista's expecting and may find out soon) and a few of our beloved pets cross over the bridge. We just lost Poldie this week and it was like losing a part of the family. I can't wait to hear more about Winnie and the joy and laughter she is bringing you. Posting pictures is easy. I think there may be a link with info on the bottom of the board under questions??? Not sure, I'll have to look and post back for you.
By the way, I'm Teresa and I'm definitely owned by a 2 1/2 year old 10lb dark red smooth named Schatzi. I have a daughter, Meghan who is living in Nashville and has one more year left of college there and a husband Randy. We also have an English Bulldog named Molly, but Schatzi is the boss!

Roadster is my first Dachshund, he will be 2 in Nov. He was supposed to be a Mini, but he went a little over size. He has been traveling with my husband and I since he was a baby. We can't get out of the house without him. He rides in our Miata, and loves it. We belong to a Miata Car Club which he is a member. I love looking at the pictures of the other Dachshund's, and know they're are other people out there that love the breed as much as I do. So hello, from Roadster and me.
