Road Trip - Almost

Mom and I were going to have a doggie day out.  She had the day off from work and decided we should go check out the light house in Sleepy Hollow, NY.  Oh boy!  That meant a car trip.  She leashed me up and I knew we were headed somewhere, especially when she put me in my car harness for the 45 minute trip.  Mom chickened out of the trip though.  When we crossed over the bridge and ventured another 5 miles or so, it began to sprinkle.  Considering the sky was looking pretty cloudy, mom decided we'd wait until a different day (maybe Friday) to take this particular road trip.  Rats!   :dontknow:  It was just me and mom going.  Abbie was staying home all by herself.

When we got back home, the mailman had already come.  Drats!  I like barking at him.  There was a magazine in the mailbox from a place mom had never heard from, but the front had pictures of ME on it.  Okay, it wasn't really pictures of ME, but pups that looked just like me so mom knew she had to check it out.  I thought she should share this link as she thought these were so cute.  This links to www.theparagon.com of which has a set of kissing doxie salt & pepper shakers (http://www.theparagon.com/jump.jsp?itemID=26790&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=ea2278a&productPrefix=ea).  Mom's thinking she might have to get a set.  The website also had cor holders (http://www.theparagon.com/jump.jsp?itemID=19722&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=ea3580&productPrefix=ea).  Mom likes to cut the corn off the cob, but still thought these were cute.

Rats about the sprinkles.  Hopefully Friday will be another great day to go on an adventuer.  A lighthouse?  We love lighthouses here.  Enjoy your day with just your Mama.

A lighthouse???  Cool!  An old lighthouse up here in Homer, Alaska was made into a bar called The Salty Dawg.  Neat place, sawdust on the floor, etc.......
