Anyone in Washington State going to Ellensburg?

There is a dachshund festival going on in Ellensburg, Washington. It starts Saturday June 17th. It promises to be a very exciting dachsie filled day. If anyone is going let me know if there is a way I might be able to identifie you or your dachsie.

I wish I had known about this sooner ..... even though it is 400+ miles away from me .... it is only about 125 miles away from the grandbabies .... It would have made a GREAT stop over. Maybe next year. Please post earlier

I am very sorry I did not let you know sooner. Everything at this event went well. There were 205 dachsies total. That is down from last years 300, but they think it may have been that the owners were afraid the weather would go sour. I am going to post photos now.

Modem was Data Dog and took 3rd place out of over 100 costume entries.

Last but not least is the dachsie flying through the hoola hoop off the ground this was simply amazing to watch and the photo as good as it is, still does not do this justice.

How close do you live to Ellensburg? My two son live in the Tacoma/Seattle area ...... WAY too many people for me ...... every time I drive over there I think that Ellensburg might be close enough to them to keep them happy and country enough to keep me happy. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
