Has anyone heard from Barb and Rudy?

Just wondering how the vet visit went. Has anyone heard anything?

Thanks for checking on us ! I had a list of errends to run today since I was off. Of course, Rudy was full of energy and excited to go to the vets - he always is - crazy boy ! Dr. M looked him over from head to toe and listened to my play by play. He really couldn't find anything wrong - but did take blood for blood work to see if anything shows up. He got a butt squeeze and they said he was really full - so that may have had something to do with him feeling puny.

I am still watching him closely and if he acts that way again - I will take him to the vet immediatly. He did bark at me for treats - so that is one more thing he normally does and hadn't done for a couple days.

Thanks for thinking of us - I just KNOW that something was going on with him, but is frusterating not to know exactly what.

Hope everyone has a good weekend - it is hotter than you know what in Texas!

We're feelin' the heat up here in Oklahoma too! Glad to hear Rudy checked out ok! Give him lots of hugs and belly rubs! We'll keep sending rays your way - hope the blood works comes back A-OK!

The little toot has been hell on wheels all week end - barking and demanding everything !!! But that is ok with me !!!

Must have been those pesky anal glands. Glad he's doing better now!

Once I rushed my Rudy to E-vet thinking it was his back again and turned out he had infected anal glands. I felt so dumb, but was glad he was okay and it was easily treated.

It may very well have been the glands - they said they were very full, but not infected. I am going to chart how often I have taken him - and be pro-active and get him there before they get full. Brandy's weren't that full - so she can probably go every other time.

Hey Barb! Glad to hear that Rudy Boy is feeling better. It probably was just the glands but it is always a worry when we know that something is just "out of sorts". I have been out of town since last friday and unable to check in. I sure was happy to hear that he is doing well!
