We went to the Dog Park with Auntie Brenda, Mocha, and Lassie, the sheltie (taking along some of Unca Mike's cousin's doggie treats!). We not only met a cute 2 year-old red smooth dachsie (weighing in at 6 pounds) named Chloe, but we met our first dachsie on wheels - a 10 year-old b&t smooth boy in a stroller - his mom and dad said his surgery did not go well, and we also met our very first Irish wolfhound named Molly.  She is 11 months old, and had a big shaved area on her right front shoulder area.  Her mama said the vet thought she had a cyst in her lung and it possibly popped, causing her lung to deflate, so she is recovering from surgery!  We also met the usual - a poodle, some Labradors, a rat terrier, some American bull terriers, and others who were "just dogs".  The girls had a great time, and Brenda and I enjoyed chatting with everyone - especially Molly's mom and Chloe's mom and dad!

How WONDERFUL!!  Did Brekke get along with everyone?  My girls were just plain lazy today......as was their mommy. :nana:

That sounds like lots of fun. Greenville is going to have its FIRST dog park in a month or so. I can't wait to take Schatzi there. It isn't going to be very big, but I think the city will be surprised at how many people will be showing up. I expect there will be an expansion and more parks in the future.
