Thanks for the Barkday wishes. Clifford had a good time and was very tired Saturday night. He started off his day by going outside at 5:30 am and finding (in his mind) his bestest barkday present to date. He came trotting back up the front walk with a fluffy nest in his mouth. He was not happy to put it down, but did. When I looked at it I realized the WABBITS were back and quickly found the new nest of 3 (I think) day old babies. I haven't checked on them since Saturday, but assume they are still under the grass and fur. Clifford doesn't seem too excited about them since.

Later we went to pick up a couple of 5 gallon pails of crushed stone for the patio, ran through the car wash, and stopped at my cousin's dog boutique. He got to pick out a new toy (squeaky ball) and also a couple of Happy Birthday cookies. He later shared the cookies with his cousin the Shi Tzu (not willing, though). Once we got back home later after sampling some of his Grandma's strawberry shortcake, he crashed and slept like the 12 year old dachsie he is.

Happy belated barkday, Mr. C! Did you get scrambled eggies, or not? Inquiring minds wanna know! Brekke got to sample some of your cousin'd goodies today - Brenda brought some along when we went to the dog park. Very cool about the bunny nest! Brekke says she thinks there is a mouse around and she wants to make it squeal just like her toy!

Hi Auntie Julia. I didn't get eggies, but there was lots of other food. Tell Brekke I found out the mousies only squeak once and then they don't want to play anymore...
