Who I live with: My mom, My Dad, Roscoe and Gwennie. - Mom keeps telling me I’m getting a new brother or sister in December, but it will only have 2 legs and no fur. What in the world???

What do I do when my Hoomans are away: I sleep in the kitchen with Roscoe and Gwennie and Guard my house

Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:

When Mom goes to put us in the kitchen each morning, I run and hide under my blankie. When she pulls the blankie up, I roll over and show her my belly and wave my paws at her. I look really cute and each time I hope she leaves me out, but she never does. She always just swoops me up, gives me cuddles and kisses and then sets me in the x-pen with Roscoe and Gwennie. I snub her and never kiss back.

When she gets home after work, all is forgiven and I’m so happy to see her and give her big kisses.

Rudy, you are so handsome!!! Great write-up and hope you get lots of treats and belly rubs along with kisses! Being DOD today, Sarge and Looie said to tell your Mom that you should have the run of the house -- after all, you are the King today!!!

And, congratulations to your mom and dad for the new little brother and sister of the two-legged version that will be arriving in December!!!!

Oh, Rudy, you're so sweet. What a cute story about your morning routine. I remember meeting you, and you were very protective of your mommy! Thank you all for the well wishes on our upcoming new addition (we are very, very excited) and happy thoughts for Rudy too.

Rest assured there will be extra treats tonight and Rudy will also get to sleep in the big bed with me the next two nights while his dad is out of town. I'd let them all sleep with me, but Gwennie walks around and night and will even take flying leaps off the bed. I don't want to crate her by herself, so she and Roscoe will sleep in their normal big crate bed and Moody Roo will be with me.

I love the part about Rudy rolling over belly up and waving the paws in the air. Schatzi does that anytime she doesn't want me to pick her up, hoping the cuteness factor will save her. I also loved how he snubs you until you get home.
What a clever way to announce the news of a new two-legged addition! Once again the board will get to follow along and be excited with you. Congratulations!

Thanks everyone. Rudy had a great day yesterday. My dad even made a special trip over just to play with the doglets and he is one of Rudy's favorite people. Rudy enjoyed a chewy and later sprawled out in the big bed with me all night long.

As for our news, yes we are very excited. We had already set up an appointment for fertility testing when we found out we had actually gotten pregnant on our own. We were thrilled. I'm sure Rudy will get used to the idea.

I'm just over 9 weeks along and our estimated due date is 12/19/06. Thanks for all the well wishes. We are just hoping and praying for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

I'm glad Rudy had a wonderful day of spoiling.
My neice was born on December 18 of last year. My sister-in-law says it is a wonderful time to have a baby because the summer was so easy. With Allison, even though she was a C-section, she was still home on the 21st and everyone was doing great on Christmas. Hope everything goes perfectly smooth for you.
