Mom's Going "Mushy" on Us!

The other morning as I'm getting ready to go to work, I'm in the kitchen preparing my lunch. There is a bit of sunshine that in coming in from the kitchen windows, so Sarge lays in the entry way between the kitchen and the dining room......then Looie comes up and wants to be in the sunshine also......so he snuggles in next to his brother and lays his head on top of Sarge's........I just had to get a picture! Everytime I look at this picture, it makes my heart go mushy with love for my two boys. Sarge has been the ruler of this household for 7 years on May 8 and Looie has been in his forever home one year on May 3! Along with my hubby, Dave, these two boys are the love of my life! Dee

Oh Dee, that is the sweetest picture of them! Makes my heart go pitter-pat! Belly rubs to both your boys. Chilie sends kisses to Looie and Sargey. Especially her sweetheart, Sargey!

That's such a sweet picture. It reminds me of how Rudy & Max used to snuggle with each other. The bond between dachsie siblings is one of the strongest relationships you'll ever see.

Beth, that is one of my most favorite pics of the boys -- I have it posted in my office and everyone has made comments about it. Kisses back to Chilie and to Lara, too! Dee

David, in the almost year that Looie has been with us, I've seen the relationship between the two dachsies bloom. Sarge has taught a lot to Looie -- it's as if he knew when Looie came to live with us that he had a rough life before coming our house. They have gotten along so well since the first day. And, bless Sarge, for being SO patient with Looie. I mean Looie is laying next to him, on top of him......and Sarge just patiently lets him lay on his head, or wherever Looie decides to plant his body the majority of the time. Their bond is very strong. Dee

Dee, I agree, they learn and mellow from the other, Oliver had a year with Angus who taught him life was not what it was, that being a lover gets you further.
I had to do a double take on Gabbe, I thought it was a photo of Oliver and Emma.
I have shot of Oliver and Ingrid, in similar situation but they did not have enough room to lie so they are sitting velcrod together.

Dee - I can see exactly why it turns you to mush - that is the most heartwarming picture - I could just cuddle with those 2 boys all day long !!! What a great Sarge/Looie story !!!

My gosh that is more than enough reason to go mushy! :) What a precious shot, Sarge has been such a good boy to welcome Looie into the family like he has. They look like they were made for each other! Nikki that pic is just too precious too I am a sucker for resting chins on sibling shots!!

Actually that is Lily that Gabbe is resting upon. It was taken before Lily became a zipper back.
