I have been giving Penny Lane green beans and I wanted something lighter....  So I started giving her cut pieces of cucumbers w/ seeds...

What do you guys think????

As far as I know they are safe.  She may poop out little seeds, but that's all I can think of.  Don't get scared abuot tapeworms or something if that happens!  lol

I don't think that would be a problem - I give Penny squash and that is kind of similar..

There are cucumbers you can usually find pretty easily that are called either "English cucumbers" or "European cucumbers."  These are supposed to be easier to digest (at least for hoomans) because they're seedless. They look like a longer (appropriate for dachsies, no?), thinner cucumber and they're not waxed, they are wrapped in plastic.
