Will be away for a few days

Roger's grandmother passed away last night, so we are making a trip to Kentucky later today.  She was 94 years old and had been in failing health the last few months.

Ozzy will get to stay with the grandparents (my folks), so he will be one pampered pupper.

I'm sorry to hear that!  Wishing you a safe trip.  what part of KY are you traveling to?  I'm in Lexington area if you'd like/need a visit with dachies.

So sorry to hear about your loss!!  It is so hard to leave our daschies behind, but I am happy he will be well taken care of!

We stayed with Roger's mom, who lives in Jeffersontown, but the visitation and funeral were held in Mt. Washington, where most of Roger's relatives live.  The visitation was almost over when the tornado warnings sounded last Friday, so we spent the last few minutes of visitation huddled in an interior room of the funeral home.

Ozzy stayed with my folks who live about an hour from the Louisville metro area.
