We Had Thunder Storms

Blusky&Manny here: It was really really terrible last night in the thunder storms.The weather sirens went off and we all had to head to the basement.Momma held me-Blusky;and Gamma Sara held me-Manny.They kept telling us they wouldn't let nothin happen to us 2 little boys.
   Then we got the all clear and we all went back upstairs and Momma Kelly took us 2 puppers in her room so we wouldn't beable to see all the lightning outside cause Momma had the windows covered.

How scary!  I'm so glad you two had a safe place to go.  How are your momma and gramma?

How scary!  We had some thunderstorms as well in Iowa.  Ozzy doesn't seem too bothered by thunder, he would raise his head if a particularly loud boom happened, but he would go right back to sleep.

Those storms are supposed to hit us overnight.   We had a high of 85 degrees today.  It's going to drop 30 degrees by tomorrow.  That kind of change is bound to trigger some serious thunder-bumpers.

Max doesn't really care too much about them anymore.  He used to bark at them a lot.   Rudy used to sit at full attention with his behind wedged up against me.   I could feel him trembling in fear, but his instinct to "protect" his master overcame his fear, and he would stand watch over me when thunderstorms came through overnight.

For some reason this made me tear up.  Rudy was a special dog and very brave!

DUDES!  I am very good about da storms, but my brudder King Sol is NOT.  He gets all whiney and hides and stuff, and I just sleep.  It can't get cha if you are by mom!  I am glad you are okay.  Its okay to be skart but its better to sleep.
