Can you believe the nerve of the weather...it rained all weekend and since I am a princess I wouldn't go out to do my business with my humom with me to hold the umbrella! Today it is sunny though...so I am catching up on some rays!

I have a secret - it is actually artifical turf! We have such a small backyard and the grass we did have Penny killed. So we decided to try this out and it is great! You just rinse it down every couple of days and pick up the poop. She loves it! It looks pretty real!

That's an awesome idea!  We have a tiny little fenced-in porch on our townhome, and it is just a cement slab.  I would love to have artificial turf laid down so that Chilie can go out there and lounge on nice summer days.  Where did you get the turf, and was it expensive?

We have a townhome as well - so our yard is pretty small. It was about $6 per sq ft which is a little pricey, but has been totally worth it in the end (anything for my baby)

I found the place we got it from locally - they had a commercial on TV. Here is their website http://www.sandiegograss.com/  I would do a search on the internet or check your yellow pages.

My kids would HATE IT - it's not edible.   :2funny:  They eat my lawn for me.  Roots and all.

Lovely grass and it's FAKE?  WOW!  Fooled me.  Penny looks so content in her "grass".  Wonder how my girls would like artificial turf?  They'd prolly say, "this grass has some weird artificial taste.  Must be the preservatives."     Hmmm.  We talked about doing this in our little postage stamp yard.  Gotta admit, yours looks GREAT!
