Hi, from California!

Hi everybody!
My name is Tess and we own doxies!  ( :thumb:) My little boy is Dash and my little girl (Dash's sister from the same liter) is Annie. Dash and Annie are Dapples. (Go Dapples!) Like most people here, I luvvvvvvvvvv my little babies. Both are six months old and are still learning the potty training (9 out of 10 ain't bad). I never new how loveable these dogs were. My husband has owned doxies before and was missing have one around. We got Dash first. The breeder couldn't keep Annie and asked if we wanted her too! Of course we did. Now I am a crazy doxie mom!

Hi Kari! Hi everyone!

We live in Sacramento, Ca. We have relatives/friends in the Chula Vista/San Diego area who we visit quite frequently. Haven't traveled down there with the wierners yet, but hoping to make a visit this summer. I see that SD do a lot of Doxie activities. Some friends here in Sacto say there are Doxie parades and other activities here in Davis and Rio Linda (Both close by us) so this spring we hope to take our doglets out and about. As soon as I figure out how to add pictures, I will. :)

The puppers do run the house, don't they? They do here!

Welcome Tess!  I'm Sandi and my hubby Mark along with our dachsies, Dolly and Madison live in San Luis Obispo!  Aren't these li'l long dawgs great?  I love being owned by 2 dachsies!

I never owned doxies before but my husband had these dogs before. He converted me to true doxie love! (LOL). Dash and Annie (litter mates and dapples) are our children. We have hooman children (a boy and a girl), but our doxies are our babies!

We are about to increase our household by one more Doxie! Dash and Annie's doxie parents had another litter. That papa dog is a real go getter. We got first pick of the puppies and little Georgie will be coming home to us in about 4 weeks. We have seen Georgie grow from a newborn pup from seeing his eyes open to seeing him walk and wag his tail! It is really amazing. The breeder will be getting momma doxie fixed so this will be her last litter. My husband says no more doxies and he really loves these dogs. It was his idea to eventually have three. So he gets his wish sooner than he thought, but I know he is as excited as I am. We have visited little Georgie about once a week since he was born.

Are we crazy? Maybe. But you can't help but love the little long doggies. :)
