I know that it's been a while since I last posted...shame on me.  Just seems that I never have enough time in the day.

Boy is the bed full again this week.  We are dog sitting for Julie's mom and have Koby and Tiff over for the week.  Sgt and Libby are loving it....they have play pals, even though Tiff is still not into the play thing.

Shhhhhh...we get to spoil Tiff and Koby while their hum-mom is on vacation....when it was time to go to bed, Tiff and Koby didn't think twice and ran into our bedroom so that they could snuggle under the covers with us.  Forgot what it was like having 4 doxies in the bed with us.  Talk about cramped quarters.

Last night after I came home from work, I had all four vieing for the coveted spot on my lap.  Had one on my lap, one on the right of me, one on the left of me and one laying across my feet.  I was suffering from a severe case of DOL syndrome(dog on lap).  They were so comfortable and I could barely move.  The garlic toast that I had in the oven was sacrificed when I didn't want to bother them by getting up.  Actually, I think I forgot about it while it was cooking.  Sgt got up and went into the kitchen and then started doing his "hey, I need something/let me get your attention bark."  I was ignoring him until I started to smell the toast burning in the kitchen.  I am thinking that Sgt was saying "HEY, WE GOT A PROBLEM IN HERE!!!"  Needless to say, dogs went flying off my lap when I ran into the kitchen to see the smoke billowing from the toaster oven.  I looked down to Sgt who was looking up at me with a look on his face telling me "I tried to tell you!"
